Do I need a referral?
For most insurance plans, no referral is needed. Some plans — including BCBS/Obamacare plans — do require one from your primary care physician.
Does Medicare cover GLP-1 medications here?

What happens at my first appointment?
We’ll review your new-patient paperwork, measure your resting metabolism with a 10-minute breathing test, and build your personalized plan.
Can I do telemedicine instead?
Yes — we offer virtual visits through Spruce Health. Many insurance plans cover it; cash-pay pricing is available otherwise.
